Welcome

I write books on weather and climate, ecology, and other aspects of environmental science. What happens in the atmosphere is a lot more fun than all the doomy tales of global warming make it sound. My books explain climate change, as well as ice ages, air pollution, and violent and dangerous weather such as tornadoes and hurricanes. I also write about biomes of the world, such as tropical forests, temperate forests, grasslands, and deserts. Find out what makes a typhoon. Read about what it’s like to be lost in the whiteout of a blizzard. And about the tornado that dropped a school bus on to the school stage.
